Male breast enlargement – Gynecomastia
Male breast enlargement is a benign growth of the mammary glands and/or fatty tissue in men.
Indication
Men with enlarged breasts (gynecomastia) often suffer a great deal due to the shame caused by the feminised breast shape. Hiding their breast under tight-fitting clothing is uncomfortable and impossible in summer.
Cause
Various causes can lead to gynecomastia, including underlying diseases or certain medications. Sometimes a screening by means of blood tests and ultrasound is therefore necessary.
Gynecomastia can develop as early as puberty. If the mammary gland does not regress after the pubertal hormonal fluctuations have subsided, a disturbing swelling remains.
An increase in fatty tissue due to obesity can also lead to an enlargement of the breast. After weight loss, a sagging breast may remain due to loss of skin elasticity.
Treatment
Liposuction and gland removal
If there is only an excess of fatty tissue, liposuction may be sufficient. However, it is often a combination of gland and fatty tissue. Then the mammary gland is removed via a small incision in the areola after liposuction.
Skin tightening
If there is pronounced skin excess, this is removed through an incision around the areola and in the fold below the pectoralis major muscle.
Compression garment
A compression vest must be worn after the operation to promote rapid healing.
My aim is to help you achieve an aesthetically pleasing, masculine appearance.
