PRP Hair – Plasma treatment
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is made up of two main components: plasma, the liquid component of blood, and platelets, which play a critical role in healing throughout the body and contain growth factors.
Indication
PRP has been used successfully for years to improve hair quality and prevent and treat genetically predisposed hair loss (androgenetic alopecia).
Growth factors
Studies show that the increased concentration of growth factors in the area of application stimulates the natural regeneration and cell renewal processes. Among other things, growth factors influence a specialised group of skin cells that are crucial for hair growth.
Angiogenesis
Among other things, the treatment promotes the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis), which nourish the hair follicles
Treatment
Based on scientific findings, I recommend 4 PRP sessions every 4 weeks at the beginning, followed by maintenance treatments every 3-6 months. Individual treatments are less effective.
Production
To produce PRP we need a small amount of your blood. Plasma and platelets are separated from the other blood components by a rapidly rotating centrifuge.
Injection
The resulting PRP is then injected into the treatment area to stimulate hair growth, improve hair quality and prevent hair loss.
Safety
Because your own blood is used, the treatment is safe and can be used either as a stand-alone therapy or to improve hair transplant results.
Combination therapy
The effectiveness of PRP is increased when combined with other products such as exosomes or topically applied minoxidil and Fynzur.
Result
The results of PRP treatment become most noticeable after approximately 6 months and should be maintained.
PRP is a safe and proven procedure for hair loss.
