How do scars develop?

Scars form when the skin is damaged by significant injuries, acne, surgeries, or inflammation and then heals. They alter the skin’s texture and can make the complexion appear uneven. Scars can be flat, sunken, or raised and are often associated with changes in pigmentation.

Scar formation is a natural wound-healing response of the body. Depending on the depth and type of skin injury, the regeneration process can vary. Especially with acne, burns, or deep wounds, the collagen network is often damaged, leading to visible scars. Genetic factors and individual healing ability also play important roles.

Modern scar treatment

We offer a variety of effective therapies to visibly improve scars and regenerate skin structure.

Controlled micro-injuries during medical microneedling stimulate collagen and elastin production. This smooths the skin’s texture and significantly improves scar tissue. The combination of microneedling and radiofrequency with Morpheus8™ penetrates deeply into the skin, strengthens connective tissue, and can sustainably enhance the quality of scars.

Concentrated growth factors in regenerative plasma therapy using PRP (platelet-rich plasma) further enhance skin regeneration and collagen remodeling. Exosomes deliver innovative cellular messengers into the skin, promoting regeneration at the cellular level, reducing inflammation, and visibly improving scar tissue.
