Understand and treat stretch marks – for visibly more beautiful skin

What are stretch marks and how do they develop?

Stretch marks are harmless skin changes caused by rapid skin stretching and the associated tearing of the collagen and elastin fibres in the connective tissue. They can occur during pregnancy, with rapid weight gain or weight loss and with muscle build up. They initially appear as red or purple lines and later fade to silver or white stripes.

Treatment of stretch marks

As stretch marks are often aesthetically disturbing, we offer treatments with Morpheus8™ and medical microneedling. These treatments promote collagen production and help to improve the appearance of the skin.

A balanced diet, regular exercise and skincare with vitamins A and E help to strengthen the connective tissue and prevent stretch marks. Premium collagen products such as Skinade® support skin quality from the inside.
