BBL® HEROic™ – Photorejuvenation
Effectively targets redness, pigmentation and early signs of ageing – for smoother skin, even tone and a refreshed, youthful look.

Indication
Our skin is constantly exposed to environmental influences, UV radiation, and internal factors such as hormonal changes and the natural ageing process. The result: redness, pigmentation issues, fine lines, or an uneven skin texture. BBL® HEROic™ is a state-of-the-art, non-invasive photorejuvenation therapy specifically designed to treat sun-damaged, dull, or uneven skin. It promotes visible skin rejuvenation and a more even, radiant complexion – quickly, gently, and with minimal downtime.
Treatment with BBL®
BBL® stands for “Broad Band Light” – pulsed, broadband light that penetrates deeply into the skin without damaging the surface. It stimulates skin regeneration and effectively treats pigmentation irregularities, vascular changes, and early signs of ageing. Even after a few sessions, there is a visible improvement in skin tone, clarity, and texture.
BBL® HEROic™
While BBL® HEROic™ builds on the same proven technology as its predecessors – BBL® and BBL® HERO™ – it introduces groundbreaking innovations such as Intelligent Control™ (IC™) software and the Skin Positioning System™ (SPS™). Together, these advancements enable faster and more efficient treatments, greater patient comfort, and consistently outstanding results.
Aftercare and result
Immediately after the treatment, the skin may feel warm or appear slightly red – similar to a mild sunburn. These effects usually subside within a few hours. Consistent sun protection and hydrating skincare are essential. The skin often looks fresher, smoother, and nicely toned even after just one session – and results improve continuously with each treatment.

How many treatments are needed?
We typically recommend 3 to 6 sessions spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments can follow for lasting skin rejuvenation.
Can I have BBL during the summer?
Yes, but the skin should not be recently tanned, and high SPF (50+) must be used before and after the treatment. We provide individual advice.
Are there any contraindications?
Yes. Active skin infections, open wounds, or use of light-sensitising medications may exclude you from treatment. A thorough skin consultation is always done beforehand.
Is the treatment painful?
The treatment is usually well-tolerated. A numbing cream can be applied for additional comfort. You may feel warmth or a brief snapping sensation during the light pulses, but the skin calms quickly.
What happens if I neglect aftercare?
Proper aftercare – especially sun protection – is vital to the success of your treatment. Inadequate care can lead to pigmentation shifts or reduced effectiveness. We guide you with a curated skincare plan.
