Bodylift
A body lift is designed to create firmer body contours, which can lead to an enhanced self-image and improved body image
Indication
The natural ageing process or weight loss often leads to a general skin laxity.
The body lift procedure is particularly suitable for removing excess skin from the back, abdomen, thighs and buttocks. At the same time, unwanted fat deposits can be reduced. A pleasant side effect is often a reduction in cellulite and other dents and irregularities.
Treatment
There are basically two types of body lift – the lower body lift (for the belly, buttocks and outer thighs) and the upper body lift (for the arms, chest, belly and back).
Lower body lift
In a lower body lift, the incision usually begins at the pubic mound and runs in a circular pattern to above the buttock crease. The resulting scar can be skilfully concealed by the underwear.
Upper body lift
In an upper body lift, a horizontal incision is traditionally made in the area of the bra band in a circular direction forwards to the breast crease in order to treat excess skin on the back. The operation is often combined with a breast and arm lift.
Thorax lift
To avoid wide scars on the back, I remove the excess skin on the back via a lateral incision, which can extend either to the bra band or even into the underwear. In the case of a simultaneous upper arm lift, this scar joins with the scar on the inside of the upper arms.
Result
Although the body lift is an extensive operation with a prolonged healing time, patient satisfaction is usually high as it leads to a significant improvement in appearance and quality of life.
I would be happy to discuss an individual treatment plan with you to help you achieve a firmer body.
