Indication
BodyTite™ is a proven technology and is used as a minimally invasive method for skin tightening and fat reduction. BodyTite™ uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to heat the subcutaneous fatty tissue, causing it to shrink. Liquefied fat cells can then be suctioned out more easily. At the same time, the heat stimulates collagen production, which leads to a rejuvenation of the skin. The procedure is also known as RFAL (radiofrequency-assisted lipocoagulation). BodyTite™ is suitable for various areas of the body: Abdomen, thighs, upper arms, back and breasts.
Treatment
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, twilight sleep or general anesthesia. It always begins with the administration of a local anesthetic. A probe is then inserted just below the surface of the skin, which generates controlled heat using electromagnetic waves. This causes a shrinking effect and collagen stimulation in the deep skin layer and in the subcutaneous soft tissue matrix. The liquefied fat cells are then often removed using a suction cannula. This combination is also suitable for treating larger fat deposits on the body, with the advantage of better skin retraction and less bruising compared to classic liposuction.
Aftercare and result
After the treatment, slight swelling and bruising may occur, which will subside within 2 weeks. A compression garment is recommended for about 6 weeks to support healing. The first visible results are often visible after 2 weeks, with the final tightening and skin improvement becoming visible after 2 to 4 months as collagen production continues to be stimulated.
