Fat grafting – lipofilling
A youthful and attractive face is characterized by a good facial structure.

Indication
Not only the bone structure, the connective tissue with the muscles and the skin, but also the fat plays a decisive role in the facial structure.
One of the first signs of the ageing process in the face is the loss of volume in the mid-face area. Over time, the orbital region, the mouth area and the temples also lose fat volume, which leads to relative deficits. At the same time, there is a relative increase in volume in the lower face and neck.
Treatment
Targeted liposuction and autologous fat grafting (liposculpture) can provide a remedy here and are often combined with a facelift or neck lift. The processed autologous fat is injected into either the superficial or deep fat compartments.
This technique can also be used to correct deformities resulting from cosmetic surgery, accidents or congenital malformations. Examples of this include hollow eyes after eyelid lifts and loss of volume or indented scars as a result of accidents or operations. In addition to the volume effect, autologous fat also has a positive effect on skin quality, dark circles under the eyes and scar quality.
Aftercare and result
After autologous fat grafting, it is important not to cool the fat.
As soon as the swelling has subsided after about 2 to 3 weeks, the result will be visible. As a rule, you will be socially acceptable again after 1 to 2 weeks. The regenerative effects of an autologous fat treatment take several months to develop before they become fully visible.
Liposculpture is a procedure that can naturally restore youthful freshness and harmony to the face.

Frequently asked questions about liposculpture
Is the treatment painful?
No pain is to be expected during the procedure, as local anesthesia and intravenous sedation or general anesthesia are used. Mild pain or feelings of pressure may occur after the treatment, which can be easily treated with painkillers.
How long does the result last?
The result is permanent, but around 10 to 30 % of the transferred fat does not survive and is broken down by the body. In addition, the natural ageing process continues. By storing fat cells (fat banking), repeated autologous fat grafting is possible without the need for another mini liposuction.
Can the treatment be combined with other procedures?
Yes, it can be combined with other procedures such as a facelift or eyelid correction to achieve a harmonious overall result.
When can I exercise again?
Exercise is possible after about 2 weeks.
What do I need to bear in mind with autologous fat grafting?
When autologous fat is being transplanted, you should avoid nicotine consumption for 4 to 6 weeks before and after the procedure, as nicotine consumption reduces the survival rate of fat cells.
