Hand rejuvenation
If you start to notice that your hands appear old, hand rejuvenation could be a solution for you.

Indication
Our hands reflect our work, our lifestyle and our age. They are frequently exposed to the sun and environmental influences, which leads to discoloration and wrinkles over time. The skin also becomes thinner as we age. The loss of fatty tissue makes tendons and veins more prominent. Hand rejuvenation can provide a remedy here.
Treatment
An effective method of hand rejuvenation is the transplantation of autologous fat (lipofilling). Autologous fat transplantation not only corrects the loss of volume, but also has a positive effect on skin quality.
Aftercare and result
After hand rejuvenation, slight swelling or bruising may occur, which will subside within 2 weeks. The result is visible after a few weeks as soon as the swelling has subsided and the autologous fat has been optimally integrated.
We will be happy to discuss your individual needs with you and create a customised treatment plan for you.

Frequently asked questions about hand rejuvenation
Are there non-surgical alternatives for hand rejuvenation?
Yes, non-surgical hand rejuvenation is possible with Radiesse® or hyaluronic acid. A biostimulating filler such as Radiesse® not only improves volume but also stimulates collagen production to improve skin quality in the long term. Non-surgical treatments offer immediate improvement but require repeated applications to maintain results.
Which method of hand rejuvenation is the best?
The various methods have their advantages and disadvantages, which we will be happy to explain to you in a consultation. The choice of method depends on your individual needs.
Is the treatment painful?
The treatment is usually carried out under general anesthesia or in deep twilight sleep. The pain after the operation is well tolerated.
What should I consider before and after the treatment?
Blood-thinning medication should be avoided before treatment. After the treatment, direct sunlight should be avoided and sun protection should be applied. In the case of fat grafting, you should avoid smoking for 4 to 6 weeks before and after the treatment.
Are there any risks?
Possible side effects include swelling or minor bruising, which however subside quickly. Rare complications are infections or allergic reactions.
How long does the result last?
Generally, the effect of a hyaluronic acid treatment lasts 6 to 9 months and a Radiesse® treatment lasts around 18 to 24 months, while fat grafting can be permanent. Sun protection and regular care support the longevity of the results.
Can the treatment be repeated?
Yes, especially with non-permanent methods such as hyaluronic acid and Radiesse®, regular touch-ups are advisable.
When can I return to work after the treatment?
Light activities are usually possible immediately, physically strenuous work should be avoided for a few days to weeks.
Can hand rejuvenation be combined with other treatments?
Yes, hand rejuvenation is often combined with other aesthetic treatments to achieve a harmonious overall look.
How quickly will I see the results?
The results are often visible immediately after treatment, but improve over a few weeks as the swelling subsides.
How much does a hand rejuvenation cost?
The costs vary depending on the method and extent of the treatment and start from CHF 3 500 for an autologous fat treatment and CHF 600 for a treatment with fillers. We would be happy to discuss the individual options in a personal consultation.
