LipoCube™
LipoCube™ is the latest generation of fat processing that unleashes the power of regenerative medicine and minimally invasive surgery.

Indication
Loss of fatty tissue in the face and a decrease in skin quality are essential components to be treated in the ageing face.
Treatment
LipoCube™ is an innovative technology for processing autologous fat that combines regenerative medicine with minimally invasive surgery. LipoCube™ enables holistic and natural facial rejuvenation by replacing volume in the fat compartments and improving skin quality.
LipoCube™ gently processes autologous fat into smaller fat particles – from millifat to microfat to nanofat and SVF – for various applications that enable optimal tissue integration.
The treatment is usually carried out under local anesthesia or twilight sleep. The duration varies depending on the extent of the treatment and is usually less than an hour. Autologous fat grafting with LipoCube™ can be used on its own or in combination with various cosmetic operations.
Aftercare and result
After the treatment, slight swelling and bruising may occur, which will subside within 1 to 2 weeks. The treated areas must not be cooled, as this reduces the survival rate of the fat cells. The results of a LipoCube™ SVF or nanofat treatment are not immediately visible due to the regenerative effect. It usually takes several months. Treatment results with millifat and microfat are achieved more quickly, with visible results after the swelling subsides in the first 2 weeks after treatment.
In Switzerland, there are legal restrictions on the use of autologous fat and SVF. We will be happy to inform you about this during a consultation.

Frequently asked questions about the LipoCube™ treatment
Who is a candidate for LipoCube™ treatment?
Ideal for patients with loss of volume and ageing skin in the face, neck and decolletage area who want a natural volumising effect or to refresh the skin’s appearance.
What are millifat and microfat?
Millifat and microfat are small fat particles with a size of 1.5 to 2 mm and 1 mm respectively. They are used as natural fillers to treat wrinkles and are ideal for treating fat loss in the superficial and deep fat compartments of the face.
What is nanofat?
Nanofat is rich in stem cells and is used to treat fine lines and improve skin quality. Nanofat is either injected directly under the skin to treat shadows under the eyes or used for intradermal skin treatment. Nanofat can be combined with microneedling for radiant skin.
What is SVF?
SVF stands for Stromal Vascular Fraction and is processed in a similar way to nanofat, but differs in that it contains a higher concentration of regenerative cells. Mechanical isolation from autologous fat and an additional centrifugation step create an innovative, cost-effective method for obtaining regenerative cells in high concentrations.
SVF contains a mixture of different regenerative cells, including adipose derived stem cells. These can be used to treat wrinkles, improve skin quality, increase the rate of fat regrowth, optimise scar healing and treat a variety of conditions.
Why do we often combine a LipoCube™ treatment with PRP?
The combination of PRP (platelet-rich plasma) with autologous fat treatment offers numerous beneficial synergies and represents a simple, cost-effective and safe approach. PRP improves the survival of the transplanted cells, reduces bruising and inflammation and facilitates the application of the fat graft. Furthermore, PRP has its own rejuvenation potential, which is an additional benefit.
Is the treatment painful?
No pain is to be expected during the procedure, as anesthesia is administered with or without intravenous sedation. Mild pain may occur after the treatment, which can be easily treated with painkillers.
What are the risks?
Possible risks include swelling, asymmetries, and under- and overcorrections.
How long does the result last?
The result is permanent, although the natural ageing process continues. Sometimes several sessions are necessary.
Can the treatment be combined with other procedures?
Yes, it can be combined with other procedures such as a blepharoplasty or facelift to achieve a harmonious overall result.
When can I exercise again?
Exercise is possible after about 2 weeks.
What else needs to be considered?
For autologous fat grafting, it is important to avoid nicotine consumption for 4 to 6 weeks before and after the treatment.
